With the new season fast approaching we’d like to be organised and get our players registered as soon as possible. For the older age groups in particular, this means that they will be eligible to play league matches as soon as the season begins. Unfortunately, players won’t be able to play in matches until they are registered with the league and we won’t be able to register them until their membership forms are returned.
It also helps the club from a welfare and safeguarding point of view to have player’s medical information and emergency contact details sooner rather than later.
This year, it would be really helpful if parents would download, complete and bring the membership forms along to their child’s first training session in September. If you’d like to pay the membership fee at the first session, that would be great but don’t worry – you don’t have to pay your membership fee until the 30th September (16th October for the Mini-Kickers), so just tear off the payment slip at the bottom of the membership form and return it with your payment when you make it. It is really important though that we have the membership forms in as soon as possible and we must have one membership form per child – please don’t put all of your children on one form.
Details of how to pay are given on the membership form and there is also information about who to speak to about payments and concessionary membership if you need to. We are keen that all children should have the opportunity to play football so please contact us if you think you may have difficulty paying the membership fee.
So, forms can be returned at training, posted to our Membership Secretary (address details are on the form) or you can scan the completed form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org to speed up the process.
