Safeguarding – The Four Steps by The FA & NSPCC

South Molton Football Club fully supports the FA Safeguarding Campaign.

As part of The FA’s role in aiming to do everything it can to support a safe and enjoyable framework for football, a new film – available at the end of this post – has been made outlining the four key steps to safeguarding. The FA have also worked with the NSPCC to commission a dedicated free helpline. That number is 0800 023 2642 and is available 24 hours a day.

If you have concerns regarding safeguarding please contact our welfare officers Shani White & Sarah Seatherton at welfare@southmoltonafc.co.uk or the County FA welfare officer at safeguarding@devonfa.com.

Please feel free to let us know if you feel there is anything we can do to make our Club better and safer for all of our players.

Thanks Martyn Piper, Chairman SMFC
